No plane ticket is necessary to enjoy these creative cocktails. They may be new in town but they are throwing it down!
Honey Moon Alley Bar serves mead, cider and cocktails in the alley at 1053 N. State St. It specializes in mead, a fermented beverage made from local wildflower honey. Other flavors are made with local apples and berries and each flavor offers a different levels of sweetness.
The best part about mead is it is delicious warm, perfect on a cold day.
As for a dairy-based beverage that is either highly anticipated or not … eggnog cocktails are out there! Swim Club, 1147 11th St., and Galloways, 1200 10th St., No. 102, in Fairhaven have their own boozy versions.
