Bellis Fair mall store closing as company files for bankruptcy and closes all locations
Clothing and accessories chain Forever 21 has filed for bankruptcy again and is closing all of its locations across the United States, according to NBC News.
Forever 21 is currently located inside the Bellis Fair mall in Bellingham and is already marking down prices in order to liquidate its inventory.
“Unfortunately Forever21 is going under here in the US and we expect them to close by the end of April,” Bellis Fair General Manager David Prince told The Herald. “It is still possible they could find a buyer to come in and buy them out of bankruptcy and keep some of their 350 locations open but we are not holding our breath. We are in talks already with a couple of potential tenants for that spot but nothing definite yet.”
No official closing day has been announced.
Bellingham’s Forever 21 is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at 1 Bellis Fair Parkway, inside Bellis Fair mall near the food court.
