PRCA Rodeo returns to NW WA Fair this summer. Here’s how to rope some tickets
The Northwest Washington Fair will return to Lynden from Aug. 13-22 with another year of entertainment and concerts at its Grandstand Arena.
Fair officials have already announced live concerts by Maoli, Brantley Gilbert, Ja Rule & Fat Joe, and Grammy-winning Christian singer TobyMac.
Fair officials recently announced another entertainment option that is very familiar to the area and fair arena: The Lynden PRCA Rodeo, scheduled for 7 p.m. Aug. 17-18.
This year’s rodeo livestock will be provided by C5 Rodeo. Rodeo announcer Jody Carper will provide commentary, and entertainer Matt Merritt returns to the arena both nights.
Tickets cost $30 for adults and $12 for children age 12 and younger. Tickets do not include fair admission, which is required to attend any grandstand entertainment events. VIP tickets are $159 and include the best seats in the house, a premium parking pass, gate admission, dinner provided by Silver Reef Casino Resort, and a full no-host bar.
Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, April 22 for the fair’s email list subscribers (subscribe at nwwafair.com/updates), or Friday, April 24 for the general public. Tickets can be purchased online at nwwafair.com/tickets, in nperson at the Fair Office, 1775 Front St. in Lynden, or by phone at 360-354-4111. Group ticket prices are also available.
