Seven-time Grammy-winning Christian singer coming to NW WA Fair this summer

The Northwest Washington Fair has announced its second artist coming to the Grandstand Entertainment Series, following the announcement of a Stone Temple Pilots concert last month.

The annual fair includes carnival rides, exhibits, games, food and a series of live entertainment at the Grandstand Arena from Aug. 13-22 at the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds.

The second artist announced for the fair this year is TobyMac, a Grammy-winning Christian singer.

“TobyMac is a highly accomplished Christian artist with music that continues to impact individuals across the nation. With 17 GRAMMY® Award Nominations, seven GRAMMY® Awards, multiple chart-topping songs, and numerous projects that reached RIAA Gold Certification, he’s achieved remarkable success within the genre,” a March 2 news release from the fair states.

The popular Christian singer was previously part of musical groups DC Talk and The Gotee Brothers. He released his first solo album in 2001. His latest album, “Heaven on My Mind,” was released in March 2025.

“Some of his top hits include RIAA Gold Certified ‘I just need U’, ‘Help Is On The Way (Maybe Midnight)’ which peaked at No. 1 across five charts, ‘The Goodness (feat. Blessing Offor),’ ‘Promised Land,’ and many more,” the news release states.

The singer is scheduled to perform Wednesday, Aug. 19.

Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday, March 6 and can be purchased online, by calling (360) 354-4111, or at the air office at 1775 Front St. in Lynden. An online-only presale is available March 4, but is only accessible for subscribers of the NW WA Fair’s email newsletter.

Tickets cost $50 for grandstand reserved seats, $65 for grandstand preferred seats, or $75 for preferred chairs. Tickets do not include fair admission, which must be purchased separately.

VIP tickets cost $205 and include fair admission, select seating, parking pass, dinner from Silver Reef Casino Resort and access to a full no-host bar.

The NW WA Fair is at the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds at 1775 Front St. in Lynden.
