Downtown Ferndale business announces upcoming closure after 14 years
Downtown Ferndale is losing another staple business as a longtime establishment closes its doors, a few weeks after Barb’s Pies and Pastries announced a permanent closure after 25 years of business.
Outlaws Saloon, known for its intensive list of 50 shot options, announced its upcoming closure on Aug. 29 through a social media post.
The saloon has been a staple of downtown Ferndale for more than 14 years.
“From the late nights filled with laughter and live music, to the countless friendships, celebrations, and stories shared within these walls — every moment has been an unforgettable chapter in our story. We want to thank each and every one of you who walked through our doors, raised a glass, and made this place what it was. Outlaws was never just a bar — it was a family, and that’s because of YOU,” the Aug. 29 Facebook post states.
“While this chapter closes, the memories will live on forever. Here’s to 14 years of good times, great people, and one heck of a ride.”
No official closing date has been set, but the saloon promises one more final party before closing its doors.
“I will announce one final hurrah of a night with endless games of Bum Darts, Would You Rather and fire sale pricing on drinks and retail,” the post states.
Outlaws Saloon is open from 4 p.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday, and 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday at 2023 Main St. in Ferndale.
