Stemma Brewing Co., a Bellingham-based brewery, took over the previous location of Twin Sisters Brewery and is now hosting a grand opening party for its second location.
Stemma’s team purchased the large brewery, taproom and beer garden back in January. It has since transformed the space and invited another local eatery to be a part of the new beer garden and taproom.
“Stemma Brewing is thrilled to announce the Grand Opening of its brand-new location, Stemma West, happening Friday, June 6, 2025! The celebration will feature live music, raffles, prizes, giveaways, and the official launch of The Riviera Club at Stemma West,” a news release from Stemma taproom operations manager Emily Gillis stated.
“Known for their delicious grass-fed burgers, crispy Ticker Tots, and flavorful bowls, The Riviera Club will be firing up the flat top for their own grand opening on June 6th, making it a double celebration under one roof! The Riviera Club will be operating a counter-service kitchen within Stemma West, bringing quick and delicious bites to the Sunnyland Neighborhood,” the news release said.
The brewery will also have Tacos Tepozteco, a food truck inspired by Tepoztlán, Mexico.
“We’re super excited to open Stemma West, and thrilled to be partnering with The Riviera Club and Tacos Tepozteco to bring top-notch food to our guests. This large indoor space allows for us to do more of what we love doing — creating a gathering place for the community,” Stemma Brewing founder Jason Harper said in the news release.
The new location started its “soft opening phase” back in March, but will be fully open on June 6.
The new brewery will be open regularly from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily at 508 Carolina St. in Bellingham.
Stemma’s original brewery is still open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily at 2039 Moore St. in Bellingham.
