The sudden closure was announced in a Facebook post.

“Unfortunately, it is now the time for our story to end. We want to thank everyone who walked through our doors over the years. You helped make Twin Sisters what it was,” the Facebook post states.

Twin Sisters Brewing Company was listed for sale in September 2023 as the owners hoped to retire.

Bellingham-based Stemma Brewing Company is set to take over the space, and plans to make Twin Sisters’ previous location into their second taproom in early 2025, according to a Facebook post.

“We have so many visions, ideas, and dreams of what may come with this expansion, and will share more as they come to life. Make sure to follow along to stay up to date on all the news and look for a Grand Opening date in the coming months,” Stemma Brewing Co.’s Facebook post states.

Twin Sisters Brewing Company was located at 505 Carolina St. in Bellingham.
