The Bellingham Farmers Market’s last winter season market is Saturday, March 18, but it will be back in full bloom on April 1 for the spring market season.

Market visitors can expect local produce, local music, handmade crafts, food vendors and fresh spring flowers and sunshine, according to a news release from Lora Liegel, the market director.

The main season market will open at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, with about 90 vendors and Mayor Seth Fleetwood at the annual cabbage toss. The market will be open until 2 p.m. and is at Depot Market Square at 1100 Railroad Ave.

The last winter market will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Depot Market Square, and will feature 45 vendors selling baked goods, pottery, jewelry, locally grown produce and other goods.
