After 30 years in business, this Bellis Fair mall jeweler is closing shop for good
Bellis Fair mall is losing a staple tenant at the end of this month. Ben Bridge Jewelers, a chain of fine jewelry stores with locations across the country, will be closing its Bellingham location Tuesday, Jan. 27, according to an email from the company.
“While it is always a difficult decision to close a store, it has been our honor to be a part of this community, serving as the personal jeweler and supporting many of the happiest moments in people’s lives,” the Dec. 31 email states.
According to a spokesperson from the Bellingham branch, the location is believed to have been open for more than 30 years.
“Our stores in the Seattle region would love to welcome customers from Bellingham when it’s convenient, and our website has an amazing selection, including some watch brands not available in every store,” the email states.
Ben Bridge’s closest locations outside of Whatcom County are in Lynnwood, Seattle and Tacoma.
Ben Bridge Jewelers will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through Jan. 27 inside the Bellis Fair mall at 1 Bellis Fair Parkway.
