Westside Pizza opening second Bellingham location

The new Westside Pizza location in Bellingham is making progress toward opening, although no opening date has been announced. The restaurant filed a permit with the city of Bellingham for a plumbing fixture, which was approved on Feb. 8. The restaurant will be at 607 Northshore Dr.

New business opens in Fairhaven

The Bone and Shuttle, a weaving studio and boutique, has opened in Historic Fairhaven inside the Sycamore Square Building. The shop features work from local artist Ariel Gingrich. The shop features handwoven clothing and home decor.

Bone and Shuttle is open from from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday at 1200 Harris Ave., Suite 402.

Aslan Depot celebrates sixth anniversary

Aslan Brewing Company is celebrating the sixth year anniversary of the Aslan Depot in Bellingham.

The Depot is open from 3 to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 1322 N. State St.
