Bellingham events this month: Trivia, live music, ghost tours, markets and cider stroll

February is already well underway, and we’ve put together a guide of fun, local events. Here is a monthly roundup of Bellingham events, festivals, trivia nights and live music this month:

Bellingham events

The Bellingham Dockside Market will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3 and 17 at 722 Coho Way. This market allows fishermen to sell their freshly caught fish directly from their boats. For the latest information of each week’s vendors, visit the market’s Facebook page.

The Spirits & Cider Stroll allows participants to tour around downtown Bellingham and try a variety of local spirits and drinks, as well as appetizers at each spot from 5:30-9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8. General admission tickets cost $50 per person and include 10 tastings, appetizers and a tasting glass. VIP tickets cost $65 and include the tastings, appetizers and glass, as well as a private distillery tour and reception at Chuckanut Bay Distillery. Tickets must be purchased online in advance.

Open roller skate is back at The Depot from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9. Those wishing to participate in the free skating must bring their own skates. Helmets and pads are also recommended. The Depot is at 1100 Railroad Ave.

The 3rd Annual Fairhaven Chocolate Walk is back from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, and tickets are still available! The event invites participants to visit 18 Fairhaven businesses that will hand out Washington-made chocolates. Tickets include tastings and a collection bag and cost $35 each. VIP tickets cost $45 and include the 18 tastings, as well as a glass of wine or champagne, a souvenir collection bag, a raffle entry for a Stanley tumbler, a sticker and a cookie. Tickets can be purchased online in advance. The event will begin at 1106 Harris Ave. in Bellingham.

Bellingham Ghost Tours is putting on multiple walking ghost tours throughout Fairhaven and downtown Bellingham during the month of February. The Fairhaven Ghost Tour runs for 1 hour and is on Feb. 10, 14, 17 and 24, and is open for all ages, although it includes “PG-13 themes.” The downtown Bellingham Ghost Tour runs for an hour and 15 minutes on Feb. 16 and 23 and is strictly for ages 21 and up. The downtown tour begins and ends at Chuckanut Bay Distillery. Tickets are available online and cost $25 per person for both tours.

Bellingham Farmers Market is back for one Saturday in February, with 100 vendors selling produce, flowers, handmade products and more. The market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17 at The Depot at 1100 Railroad Ave.

Stemma Brewing Co. at 5:30 p.m. on Sundays at 2039 Moore St.

Ono Kitchen & Bar at 7 p.m. on Mondays at 210 E Chestnut St.

Corner Taphouse at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays at 1125 Finnegan Way

Flatstick Pub at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Wednesdays at 902 N State St.

Kulshan Brewing Roosevelt Taproom at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays at 1538 Kentucky St.

Stones Throw Brewery at 7 p.m. on Thursdays at 1009 Larrabee Ave.

Live music in Bellingham

The Aslan Brewing Co. depot welcomes local artists throughout February. For the music line up, check the schedule online. Aslan Brewing Co. is at 1322 N. State St.

Kulshan Brewing Company’s various breweries are hosting live music throughout the month of February. For the music line up and locations, check the schedule online.

The Blue Room, a live music and event venue regularly hosts live performers, including jazz nights, local artists, and improv nights. Tickets are available online in advance. The Blue Room is at 202 E. Holly St.

The Shakedown, a live music venue and bar regularly hosts live music and performers. Tickets are available online in advance. The Shakedown is at 1212 N State St.
