A Ferndale manufacturer that’s landed on lists for best places to work is having a job fair to hire more workers.

Superfeet is planning to host a job fair on Wednesday-Thursday, June 15-16, and is looking to fill around 10 warehouse positions, said Annie Quammen, vice president of human resources.

The positions start at $17 an hour and have benefits that include an employer-paid health plan, paid vacation and a 4.5% employer match to a retirement program. It also provides $1,000 annually for a employee to donate to a charity of their choice.

The company, which makes shoe insoles, has landed on lists for best places to work. That includes being on Outside Magazine’s best places to work list in 2015.

It currently has 120 employees in the U.S. and Quammen said they’ve been steadily growing.

“Like most outdoor brands we saw a significant spike in business as people turned to the outdoors as a way to social distance during the pandemic,” said Quammen in an email.

Applicants can fill out a form online or just show up at the job fair, which will have food and beverages. The event runs from 2-7 p.m. on June 15 and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 16 at Superfeet’s headquarters at 1820 Scout Place. Further details can be found online.
