Food & Drink

You voted and now this iconic Seattle eatery is bringing its food truck to Bellingham

For those who have a hankering for a Seattle classic burger, Whatcom residents will get a chance to order one without leaving the county.

Dick’s Drive-In announced on Facebook that Bellingham was one of the five cities that will get a visit from its food truck. The other areas that will be visited by the new food truck are Everett, West Seattle, Bellevue and Renton. The top five cities were determined by an online vote.

Dick’s didn’t initially announce a specific date for the food truck arrival, or where in Bellingham it would be parked.

The drive-in has been around since 1954 and currently has seven locations in the Seattle area. The company also announced that it is planning to add a new drive-in in Seattle’s Eastside area.
