Fairhaven’s iconic red double-decker bus is now covered in mysterious signs with ghosts and QR codes, hinting at its new tenant coming soon.

If you scan the QR codes, you’ll be taken to a website for Tam Tam Pizza, a local “mobile pizzeria” that can be found at Bellingham Farmers Market, Fringe Brewing in Ferndale, Lost Giants Cider Company in Bellingham and Bellingham’s Dockside Market.

The red bus previously housed Fairhaven Village Tacos, which closed in Sept. 2024, and before that, Fairhaven Fish & Chips.

Now, Tam Tam Pizza is planning to serve homemade pizzas from the iconic bus, although no opening date has been announced, according to a social media post from the business.

“We get questions every day about the development of this space,” the post states. “It’s happening, slowly but surely however there’s still some uncertainties on our end. Thank you all for being patient — we’re getting there.”

The opening is also dependent on weather, as there is no indoor seating available for customers.

“Honestly, idk when our first day will be — but I want to say before the end of March. We need a few things to happen before then — like warmer weather and the public restrooms to be available,” the post states.

The Herald reached out to Tam Tam Pizza for more information but did not hear back as of Feb. 28.

Tam Tam Pizza will be at 1020 Harris Ave. in Bellingham.
