Chipotle progress in Lynden
Lynden’s new Chipotle restaurant is planned to open soon, according to a spokesperson from the chain Mexican restaurant.
“We are currently scheduled to open a new location in Lynden this month,” the spokesperson wrote in an email to The Bellingham Herald.
The new location at 8083 Guide Meridian Road will be Whatcom County’s second Chipotle location, following the Bellis Fair mall restaurant at 1 Bellis Fair Way in Bellingham.
Poppy & Pomegranate moving
Flower and gift shop Poppy & Pomegranate is moving out of Fairhaven and into another Bellingham neighborhood. The shop will move after Valentine’s Day, and plans to open its new Silver Beach location in early March.
“We’re calibrating to what we love; our relationships with our clients and designing with intention. We love getting to be a part of our community and the moments that take place within it. It’s truly our pleasure to help make them special, and this new space will allow us to do just that in the way that we always have: thoughtfully and beautifully with locally sourced flowers and stunning designs,” Elyse Perron, owner of Poppy & Pomegranate told The Bellingham Herald.
The new location will be at 601 Northshore Drive, Unit 102.
