Wondering where to watch the FIFA Men’s World Cup?
Bellingham is home to one of nine official fan zones in Washington state where community members can gather and see matches for free.
In addition, a number of local bars, breweries and other businesses are hosting watch parties.
Here’s what to know:
When are World Cup matches in Seattle?
The United States is co-hosting the 2026 World Cup with Mexico and Canada. The 39-day tournament kicked off June 11 in Mexico City and concludes with the final at East Rutherford, New Jersey, on July 19.
Host venues include Lumen Field in Seattle.
The first World Cup game in Seattle ended with a 1-1 tie between Belgium and Egypt on Monday, June 15.
The United States and Australia will go head-to-head at Lumen Field starting at noon on Friday, June 19.
Bosnia-Herzegovina and Qatar will face off on the pitch on Wednesday, June 24, at noon.
Egypt will take on the Islamic Republic of Iran on Friday, June 26, starting at 8 p.m.
Two knockout games will take place on Wednesday, July 1, and Monday, July 6, with opponents and times to be determined as gameplay progresses.
When are World Cup matches in Vancouver?
World Cup matches are also being held at BC Place in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Canada will take on Qatar at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 18.
On Sunday, June 21, New Zealand will face off against Egypt at 6 p.m.
Switzerland will battle Canada at noon on Wednesday, June 24.
New Zealand and Belgium will face off on Friday, June 26, at 8 p.m.
Two yet-to-be-determined teams will play in a Round of 32 game at 8 p.m. Thursday, July 2, and there’s a Round of 16 matchup at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7.
What bars, breweries are hosting watch parties in Bellingham?
A number of bars, breweries and other locations are hosting FIFA watch parties.
These spots will offer special hours during World Cup games:
- Aslan Brewing Company/Aslan Depot — Doors open at noon Friday, June 19, for U.S.-versus-Australia match
- Beach Cat Brewing South Paw — Open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday
- Chuckanut Bay Distillery Ballroom — World Cup viewing starts at noon on Friday and July 14, 15 and 19. Viewing begins at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 18.
- JUXT — Open noon to 11 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, noon to midnight Friday and Saturday, noon to 10 p.m. Sunday and Monday
- Kulshan Brewing/K2 — Open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday
- Menace Brewing — Open daily noon to 10 p.m. Open at game time on days with 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. matches, and open until 11:30 p.m. on days with 9 p.m. match time.
- Paws for a Beer — 3 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
- Stemma Brewing, West and Moore Street locations — Open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Uisce Irish Pub — Open daily 4 p.m. to midnight. On match days with a start time later than noon, the pub will be open 11 a.m. to midnight; it will be open 2 p.m. to midnight on days with 3 p.m. matches

Where are World Cup fan zones in Bellingham? What’s in store?
Several spots in Bellingham will be hosting free fan zone events in celebration of the FIFA World Cup.
Kulshan Trackside Beer Garden, 298 West Laurel St. in Bellingham, will host a watch party during the game between the United States and Australia, starting at noon on Friday, June 19. The free, all-ages event will feature a beer garden, prizes, giveaways and a large screen and sound system, according to Visit Bellingham Whatcom County.
Kulshan Trackside Beer Garden will host a watch party for the U.S.A.-versus-Turkey match on Thursday, June 25, at 6 p.m.
Also on Friday, June 19 at 11:30 a.m. the
Whatcom Sports & Recreation at Sportsplex, 1225 Civic Field Way in Bellingham, will bring the fun on Friday, June 19, with a watch party for the U.S.A.-Australia game.
The event, which starts at 11:30 a.m., will feature bubble ball, a bouncy house, soccer tennis, soccer darts, billiard soccer, foosball and table soccer, according to the Bellingham tourism board. While admission is free, inflatable activities cost $5 per person.

Seattle FIFA World Cup has partnered with communities across Washington to create no-cost fan zones, “ensuring that Washingtonians across the state can be part of this historic event,” organizers said.
