An Ohio man was sentenced to prison after being convicted of killing four people, including a woman who was five months pregnant, according to local reports.

Terrell Silver was sentenced to five terms of life in prison without the possibility of parole on Sept. 30, according to WJW.

McClatchy News reached out to Silver’s attorney for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Some time between Sept. 7 and Sept. 21, 2019, Silver shot four people inside a Cleveland home, according to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office.

“Silver shot all four victims multiple times as they were laying down on two mattresses on the floor,” the April 2023 release said.

The victims were identified as 23-year-old Christopher Monroe, 20-year-old Dejuan Damar Willis, 19-year-old Aiyanna Quitman and 18-year-old Jazmyne Lawson, who was pregnant, according to WKYC.

Officials said they found the four people’s decomposing bodies on Sept. 21.

Silver was found guilty of seven counts of aggravated murder, four counts of murder, five counts of felonious assault, attempted murder, one count of aggravated burglary and two counts of having weapons under disability, according to court records.

Silver maintained his innocence in court while addressing the victims’ families, according to WKYC.

“From the top to the bottom of my heart I sincerely send my condolences. I can’t, I will not apologize for these charges. I’m not responsible for them. I did not kill those people or anyone else for that matter,” he said.” But what I will apologize to you for is for everything you’ve all been through throughout this process. No parent should have to bury their child. I’m a father myself. I have an 8-year-old daughter. No family member and no friend should have to experience their loved ones being discovered in the state of decomposition they were found in.”

Family members also addressed Silver, according to WJW.

“I will never be the same,” Quitman’s mother, Tammy Quitman, said. “I will never have the honor of taking my daughter to a bridal shop for a wedding dress.”
