Police release photos from WFC Fairhaven robbery

Police have released a photo of a man they say robbed WFC Fairhaven while brandishing a gun on Sunday, Jan. 18.

Detectives suspect he robbed five other local businesses in November 2014.

Security camera images shows a white middle-aged man with white facial hair wearing a dark rain jacket, a description similar to a man who robbed four other Bellingham businesses and one Burlington business in November.

Detective Dan Kelsh said the man pretended to do some shopping at WFC Fairhaven, 3125 Old Fairhaven Parkway, on Sunday evening. As the store was closing around 6 p.m., he showed a gun and corralled employees to the back of the store. He told another employee to give him money from the cash register.

Police also released a photo of a small SUV that Kelsh said the man drove from the scene.
