Deb Slater with the sheriff’s office told The Herald in June authorities expected more arrests to follow.

Deputies arrested Ashley Elizabeth Zaylor on Sept. 22 in the 200 block of North Samish Way. According to Slater, Zaylor was the anticipated arrest from June, and the case is now closed.

Zaylor was renting a hotel room at the Baymont Inn in Bellingham and allowing Robinson and Wilkinson to reside with her, according to Slater.

A search warrant carried out on Zaylor’s hotel room uncovered a crack cocaine cooking station and two baggies of a white powder that tested positive to contain cocaine. The two baggies weighed about 42.45 grams (1.5 ounces), according to court documents.

Authorities suspect Zaylor was using the hotel room to manufacture and distribute cocaine, according to court documents.

She has been charged with two counts of possession/manufacture/intent to deliver a schedule 1 or 2 controlled substance, a class B felony. She also was charged with knowingly maintaining a place of using or selling illegal substances, a class C felony.

Zaylor is out of custody pending her upcoming trial.
