Spending Easter in the Bellingham area?
From brunches to egg hunts and farm visits, there are plenty of ways to celebrate the spring holiday in Whatcom and Skagit counties.
Here are some of the fun, family-friendly activities in store:
Bellis Fair Mall Easter Egg Hunt
Where: Bellis Fair, 1 Bellis Fair Pkwy. in Bellingham
When: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 4. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.
What: Head to the Bellis Fair food court for the mall’s annual egg hunt. You can take photos with the Easter Bunny and enjoy color activities before the hunt begins.
“This hunt moves FAST, and arriving even a few minutes after 10:30 a.m. may mean all eggs have already been found,” the Visit Bellingham Whatcom County website said.

Easter at the Farm
Where: Bellewood Farms & Distillery, 6140 Guide Meridian Road in Lynden
When: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 4, and Sunday, April 5
What: Head to Bellewood Farms & Distillery for Easter celebrations. Attendees can enjoy face painting, photos with the Easter Bunny and live music by Queen’s Bluegrass
There’s also an egg hunt for children ages 10 and under that costs $7. Hunts with prizes happen every 30 minutes. You can also take a $5 tractor ride through the farm’s apple orchards, which “offer an excellent view of Mt. Baker,” Visit Bellingham Whatcom County said.

Easter Weekend at Tulip Town
Where: Tulip Town, 15002 Bradshaw Road in Mount Vernon
When: Various times, Saturday, April 4, and Sunday, April 5
What: Tulip Town has activities for all ages this Easter weekend, including an Easter egg hunt for children 10 and under that’s free with admission.
“The Easter Bunny will be on-site for meet-and-greets and photos,” the Mount Vernon farm said.
Adults can enjoy their own egg hunt for $15 a person, complete with special prizes and alcoholic beverages.
Admission to Tulip Town costs $12.20 to $20.48. Children 5 and under get in free.

Golden Egg Hunt
Where: Mount Baker Ski Area, Mount Baker Highway in Deming
When: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4
What: Skiers and snowboarders can head to Mount Baker Ski Area for Easter egg hunts on the slopes.
A total of 542 eggs will be hidden throughout the ski resort, with one egg containing a grand prize: a 2026-27 Mount Baker season pass.
In addition to a main hunt, there will be egg hunts for children ages 10 and under, as well as kids 7 and younger.
Admission is free with valid Mount Baker season passes or daily lift tickets.

RB’s Ninth Annual Egg Hunt
Where: Bellingham Coin Shop, 1806 Cornwall Ave. in Bellingham
When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 4
What: Bellingham Coin Shop owner R.B. Wick will be hiding 10 wooden eggs in parks and public spaces around Bellingham, he said in a Facebook post.
Finders can bring the wooden eggs back to the shop to redeem cash prizes ranging from $200 to $3,000.
