November has officially started and we’ve put together a guide of fun, local events. Here is a monthly roundup of Bellingham events, trivia nights and live music this month:

Bellingham events

The Bellingham Farmers Market is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday at 1100 Railroad Ave.

Open roller skate from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3. at Depot Market Square at 1100 Railroad Ave. Admission is free, but bring your own skates to participate.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: No Brainer Tour with Jeff Kinney at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Jeff Kinney, author of the popular “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” children’s books will host “brain-challenging game show-style events” and invite audience members on stage to participate. The event is put on by Village Books and will be at Mount Baker Theatre at 104 N Commercial St. Tickets are available online or at the theatre.

The Holiday Wine Walk in downtown Bellingham is back for another year from 5-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10. The walk will include 17 participating shops with wine tastings and shopping for holiday gifts. Tickets are on sale online and range from $40-$60 per person. Check-in opens at 4:30 p.m. at Crown Plaza Lobby at 114 W Magnolia St.

A Holiday Market will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11 at Sudden Valley Community Association. The market will feature handcrafted items from makers in Whatcom and Skagit County and will be at the Sudden Valley Dance Barn at 8 Barn View Court.

An Alternative Thanksgiving: Soup, Bread, and Tea-Making, a foraging and cooking class will run from noon to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 23 and Saturday, Nov. 25 at Larrabee State Park. The class will teach families how to forage leaves to make tea and cook on an open flame and include a full meal. Those wishing to participate can register online or by emailing nwnatura@gmail.com.

Shop Small Holiday Makers Market, a market featuring handcrafted items from 50 local vendors will run from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25 and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 26, as well as Dec. 16-17. The free markets will be at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal at 355 Harris Ave.

Fairhaven Winter Fest, a seasonal festival with special events and winter decor starts on Saturday, Nov. 25. Events include meeting Santa Claus, free carriage rides, an art walk, parades, block parties and a holiday tree lighting.

Trivia nights in Bellingham

These local restaurants and bars regularly hold trivia nights:

Kulshan Brewing Roosevelt Taproom at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays, Nov. 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 at 1538 Kentucky St.

Stemma Brewing Co. at 5:30 p.m. on Sundays, Nov. 5, 12, 19 and 26 at 2039 Moore St.

Flatstick Pub at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, Nov. 7, 14, 21 and 28 at 902 N State St.

Corner Taphouse at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays, Nov. 7, 14, 21 and 28 at 1125 Finnegan Way

Stones Throw Brewery at 7 p.m. on Thursdays, Nov. 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 at 1009 Larrabee Ave.

Culture Cafe at 7 p.m. on Mondays, Nov. 6, 13, 20 and 27 at 210 E Chestnut St.

Zeeks Pizza at 7 p.m. on Mondays, Nov. 6, 13, 20 and 27 at 2416 Meridian St.

Garden Path Fermentation at 7 p.m. on Thursdays, Nov. 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 at 1319 Commercial St.

Live music in Bellingham

The Aslan Brewing Co. depot welcomes local artists throughout the month of November. For the music line up, check the schedule online. Aslan Brewing Co. is at 1322 N. State St.

Kulshan Brewing Company’s various breweries are hosting live music throughout the month of November. For the music line up and locations, check the schedule online.

The Blue Room, a live music and event venue regularly hosts live performers, including jazz nights, local artists, and improv nights. Tickets are available online in advance. The Blue Room is at 202 E. Holly St.
