Bellingham’s Halloween events: trick-or-treating, trivia, adult parties and more

Bellingham is full of spooky Halloween events this week, from adult trivia nights, trick-or-treating for kids and other events you won’t want to miss.

Here’s your guide to Bellingham’s Halloween events on Tuesday, Oct. 31.

Trick-or-treating events

The Downtown Bellingham Trick-or-Treat will run from 4-6 p.m. throughout downtown. Over 100 businesses will be participating, and the free event is open to all ages.

Welcome to “FEAR”Haven, a trick-or-treating event will run from 3-6 p.m. The free event includes trick or treating and a photo booth in Fairhaven Village at 1106 Harris Ave.

Cordata Place Trick-or-Treat will run from 4-7 p.m. in the Cordata neighborhood starting at Christ The King Bellingham church. There will be over 25 candy stops, hot cocoa, glow sticks and a photo booth. Christ The King church is at 4173 Meridian St.

Bellis Fair Mall will be hosting the Spooktacular Mall-O-Ween, a trick or treating event from 4-6 p.m. Participating stores will be handing out candy, and the event is free for all ages. Bellis Fair mall is at 1 Bellis Fair Parkway.

The Lake Samish Association is hosting a Trunk-or-Treat event from 4-6 p.m. The free event will include candy, games, prizes, music and hot beverages, and is at Lake Samish Park at 673 N Lake Samish Dr.

Adult Halloween events

Kulshan Trackside’s Last Hurrah from 4-10 p.m. will include a live DJ, dancing, a performance by Thrillingham, and a “kill the keg” competition to close the Trackside’s location until it reopens for the summer. Kulshan Trackside is at 298 W Laurel St.

Galloway’s Cocktail Bar Halloween Tasting will take place from 5-7 p.m., where visitors will be able to “sample a menu of five exclusively spooky cocktails paired with hauntingly good small bites.” Costumes are encouraged and the event costs $70 per person with limited seating. Visitors can reserve a spot by calling 360-756-2795 or emailing manager@gallowayscocktail.bar. Galloway’s Cocktail Bar is at 1200 10th St.

The Blue Abode Bar is hosting a Halloween Bash from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. The event includes live music from 9-11 p.m. with a $5 cover charge, Halloween inspired cocktails and 10% off your bill if you wear a costume. The Blue Abode Bar is at 2925 Newmarket St.

Aslan Brewing is hosting its annual, “A Nightmare on State Street: Depot Halloween Party” starting at 8 p.m. The free event includes a costume contest, themed cocktails, Jell-O shots and live music. The Aslan Depot is at 1322 N. State St.

Corner Taphouse is hosting a Halloween party and trivia night starting at 7 p.m. There is no entry fee for trivia, and prizes will be awarded to the top three teams and the best Halloween costume. Corner Taphouse is at 1125 Finnegan Way.

The Nightmare on Maple, Boundary Bay Brewery’s annual Halloween event will take place from 6-11 p.m. and include its beer garden transformed into “The Fear Garden,” full of ghosts and spooky surprises. The event allows all ages from 6-9 p.m. and will include a zombie dance performance at the BAAY Theater. From 9-11 p.m. The Fear Garden is strictly for ages 21 and over with more mature content and scares. Admission costs $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Boundary Bay Brewery is at 1107 Railroad Ave.
