We asked readers where to find the best pumpkin patch in Whatcom County, and the votes are in.

The poll had six local pumpkin patch options in Whatcom County, including Bellewood Farms, Alluvial Farms, Dan Cramer’s Western Town, Willetta Farm, Home Farm U-Pick & Events and Stoney Ridge Farm.

The unscientific poll received 156 votes.

The best pumpkin patch in Whatcom County

Home Farm U-Pick & Events received 69 votes, or 44% of the total votes to top the list of the best pumpkin farm in Whatcom County.

The family-run farm has a seasonal u-pick pumpkin patch and also grows blueberries, sunflowers and sweet corn. The farm has a seasonal farm stand and summer markets and is also an event venue.

The seasonal pumpkin patch is open until Oct. 29 and includes a variety of pumpkins, a fall farm store, face painting, tractor train rides, corn maze, mini donuts, hot cider, apple cider and hot dogs.

Home Farm’s pumpkin patch is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 6 pm. Friday through Sundays and is at 8020 Kickerville Road.

In second place was Willetta Farm with 39 votes, followed by Stoney Ridge Farm in third place with 22 votes.
