Your fall guide to pumpkin patches in Whatcom County: hours, offerings, harvest times

Fall has officially begun, and as you begin planning your Halloween costume, you may also be thinking of which local pumpkin patches will be open, and what they will offer this harvest season.

Here’s your guide to Whatcom County pumpkin patches and farms:

Whatcom County pumpkin patches

Bellewood Farms

Pumpkin patch opened Sept. 30 according to a recent Facebook post.

Offers a u-pick pumpkin patch and apple orchard, a farm store, bakery, cafe and distillery.

Open from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.

6140 Guide Meridian Road, Lynden.

Alluvial Farms

The u-pick pumpkin patch opens Saturday, Oct. 7.

Offers a pumpkin patch, pig farm and farm store selling pastured pork, organic hemp, pet treats and more.

Open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays in October.

6825 Goodwin Road, Everson.

Dan Cramer’s Western Town

Opens for the season on Friday, Oct. 6.

Offers a u-pick pumpkin patch, old Western town atmosphere, a food truck, petting zoo, tractor train rides, fun zone and a hay maze.

Open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in October.

956 Van Dyk Road, Lynden.

Stoney Ridge Farm

Opens for the season on Saturday, Oct. 7.

Offers a u-pick pumpkin and squash patch, farm animals, u-pick apples, food trucks on Saturdays, wagon rides, a corn maze, live music and cider and pumpkin donuts.

Open from noon to 5 p.m. on Fridays in October and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays in October.

Home Farm U-Pick & Events

Pumpkin patch opened Sept. 29 for the season.

Offers a u-pick pumpkin patch, fall farm store, tractor train rides, corn maze, pig pens, food trucks, popcorn and cider donuts.

Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday through Oct. 29.
