Salary: $2,875 - $3,454 monthly

Location: Whatcom County

Job description: place, monitor and remove insect traps, collect data points and communicate with staff and property owners.

Job requirements: Valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED.

Organic Certification Specialist - Dept. of Agriculture

Salary: $55,224 - $74,376 annually

Location: Remote

Job description: performs evaluation and inspections of organic systems, analyzes data, write clear and concise reviews, research agricultural production and handling requirements and communicate well.

Job requirements: a bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of professional experience or one year of experience as an Environmental specialist, and the ability to speak and write in Spanish.

Salary: $76,188 - $102,508 annually

Location: Bellingham

Job description: investigate work environments, document findings, enforce regulations, and work on difficult cases that involve fatalities, hospitalizations, injuries and hygiene issues.

Job requirements: a valid and unrestricted driver license as well as five years of related field experience or certification as an industrial hygienist.

Highway Maintenance Worker - Dept. of Transportation

Salary: $51,384 - $62,568 annually

Location: Bellingham

Job description: perform manual labor on projects such as drainage maintenance, asphalt and concrete pavement repair, erosion and slide repair and responding to emergency situations while operating a variety of tools and machinery.

Job requirements: a high school diploma or GED, a valid commercial drivers license or the ability to obtain one within six months and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
