Rental home and apartment listings in Bellingham show some prices declining last month, according to rental housing data companies.

Zumper reported that the February median price of $1,390 for one-bedroom Bellingham apartment listings was up 2% from January’s median of $1,375.

However, the February median price of $1,250 for studio apartment listings was down 2.4% from January’s median of $1,280 and the February median price of $1,750 for two-bedroom listings was down 2.5% from January’s median of $1,796.

RentHub reports median rental listing prices for houses, multiplexes and apartments of all sizes. Prices in February:

Decreased in the 98225 ZIP code from January’s average of $1,910 to $1,517 in February.

Decreased in the 98226 ZIP code from January’s average of $2,100 to $2,092 in February.

If you are looking for an affordable rental in Bellingham, looking in the 98225 zip code could save you $575 a month compared to 98226’s average rental prices.
