Just as Bellingham recently saw a decrease in rental prices, rental costs are back on the rise.
According to RentHub, a rental housing data company, Bellingham rentals in the 98225 and 98226 zip codes now have a median rent price of $1,900 a month, a 7.9% increase since March 2021.
Bellingham area rent prices have also changed just within a month, as rentals in the 98225 and 98226 zip codes are now seeing an increase since February 2022.
In March, rentals in the 98225 zip code had a median cost of $1,700, a steep increase since February’s median price of $1,450.
Rentals in the 98226 zip code had a median cost of $1,850 a month in March, a slight climb from February’s median price of $1,814.
As RentHub did not present median rental price data for zip code 98229 in March, the area’s rentals have had a steady increase in prices since October, jumping from $1,500 to $2,050 in February.
