The Bellingham Herald broke the news that the body of a patient who died on the way to the hospital was used for intubation practice by 11 Bellingham Fire employees. Here are the stories about what happened.

The city of Bellingham hired the Summit Law group to investigate allegations of possible misconduct by employees of the Bellingham Fire Department. The investigation report was filed by Summit partner Sarah I. Hale Sept. 4. Vanessa Blackburn, the city’s communication director, shared the redacted the document Wednesday following the paper’s request.
