Another store inside Bellingham’s Bellis Fair mall is closing, following the recent closure of Ben Bridge Jewelers.

Custom Metal Art, a locally owned art shop featuring metal signs, home decor and sports memorabilia, is set to close at the end of January, according to an Instagram post on the Bellis Fair mall’s profile.

The business is closing as its owner plans to retire, according to the post.

“It’s never easy saying goodbye to a tenant at the mall. While we never want to see them go, in this case, we couldn’t be happier for Jim as he heads into a well-deserved retirement,” the post states.

“Custom Metal Art will be closing at the end of this month, and they’re celebrating with a huge closing sale. The timing couldn’t be better with the Seahawks playoffs underway,” the post states.

The closing sale includes discounted Mariners and Seahawks merchandise, metal signs, apparel and collectibles.

Custom Metal Art is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and Thursday; and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at suite 368 in the Target wing of Bellis Fair mall.

Bellis Fair mall is at 1 Bellis Fair Parkway in Bellingham.
