Blaine-based brewery opening new Bellingham waterfront location next week
Beach Cat Brewing’s new location on Bellingham’s waterfront now has an opening date.
The Blaine-based brewery first opened in 2020 along the shore of Birch Bay, right before the COVID-19 pandemic started. The owners made it through the pandemic and have been pouring seaside pints since.
Now, Beach Cat Brewing is officially opening its second location — another waterfront taproom and brewery — on Thursday, May 29.
The new brewery has been in the works since last October, when a building permit was filed for the new location at 1010 C St. Suite 107 in Bellingham.
The brewery will officially open at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 29. No operating hours have been announced.
Beach Cat Brewing’s Blaine location is open from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; noon to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday at 7876 Birch Bay Drive #101 in Blaine.
