A small shop in historic Fairhaven Village has announced its closure.

Bella Rose Boutique, a bath and body product shop next to the Fairhaven Village Inn, announced its permanent closure in a Facebook post on Sunday, July 28.

“After much reflection and with a heavy heart, we must share some news. Due to rising operational expenses and our desire to spend time with family, we have made the difficult decision to retire and close Bella Rose Boutique on September 15th,” the Facebook post states.

The boutique is hosting a closing sale, discounting the entire store from 25% to 50% off starting Wednesday, July 31. Store fixtures are also for sale.

“This decision was not made lightly. Bella Rose Boutique has been more than just a shop; it’s been a community, a place of connection, and a labor of love. We’ve cherished every moment, every conversation, and every smile. Your support, loyalty, and friendship have been the heartbeat of our boutique,” the Facebook post states.

Bella Rose Boutique is open from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday at 1134 10th St. in Bellingham.
