Bellingham is getting a second Trader Joe’s location in previous Bed, Bath & Beyond spot
Bellingham is likely getting a second Trader Joe’s location, according to recent permits filed through the city of Bellingham.
Trader Joe’s has filed a permit for the demolition of offices and a vestibule entrance at 4255 Meridian St., the previous location of Bed Bath & Beyond, which closed in April 2023.
The permit has an estimated cost of $30,450 and was approved by the city on June 24.
The Bellingham Herald first reported on the possible new Trader Joe’s store back in January, when a public relations manager at the company said they had not yet confirmed a new Bellingham location.
No opening date for the new Trader Joe’s has been announced.
