New ‘travel plaza’ opening in Blaine, including four new restaurants and 24/7 market

Ben’s Market, a gas station, truck stop and convenience store chain is opening its newest a “travel plaza” in Blaine.

The truck stop expansion was first announced in October 2022, and promised new restaurants and a 24/7 market.

Now, Ben’s Market is planned to open on Wednesday, Jan. 24, according to the Blaine Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page.

The new market will include a 24/7 market, a Cinnabon, Pizza Hut, Jamba and Carl’s Jr.

It will also include Tesla chargers, a gas station, trucker amenities, CAT scales and restrooms.

The grand opening event will start at 9 a.m. with mingling and networking, followed by the opening ceremony at 10 a.m. at 1300 Boblett St.
