We asked readers where to find the gifts in Whatcom County, and the votes are in.

The poll had 10 local gift shop options in Whatcom County, including Ideal, Village Books and Paper Dreams, Bay to Baker Trading Company, Petals & Blooms and Beach Shack Gift Shop.

The unscientific poll received 82 votes.

The best gift shop in Whatcom County

Paper Dreams, a gift shop connected to Village Books received 33 votes, or 40% of the total votes to top the list of the best gift shop in Whatcom County.

The gift shop is known as a Fairhaven staple and has a variety of unique home, kitchen and beauty items, as well as candy, clothing and decor.

The gift shop is also well-loved online, receiving a 4.6-star review from 31 Google reviews and a 4.4-star rating from 14 Yelp reviews.

Paper Dreams is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and is at 1200 11th St.

In second place was Ideal with 11 votes, followed by Crosswell Boggs, Bay to Baker Trading Company and Whatcom Art Market with eight votes.
