Three new housing projects are progressing in Bellingham:

A building permit application was filed to build a three-story, nine-unit apartment building at 1116 Key St., near the East Chestnut/Ellis street intersection.

A design review permit was approved for a four-story, 129-unit apartment building with 72 parking spaces at 1811-1815 C St., near the Bellingham Police Department.

A neighborhood meeting was recently held to introduce a plan to build 11 townhouses on the northwest corner of the Bakerview Road/James Street intersection. A neighborhood meeting is required before submitting permit applications.
