Thinking about sunny places? Alaska Airlines adds a new flight out of Seattle

If this winter weather has you thinking about booking a flight to California, Alaska Airlines has a new option out of Seattle.

The airline announced that it will begin daily nonstop service between Sea-Tac and Monterey Regional Airport on June 18, making it the only nonstop flight between the two cities.

Alaska will use an Embraer 175 aircraft for the flight, which leaves Seattle at 11:10 a.m. each day.

This is the 92nd nonstop destination out of Seattle for Alaska Airlines, according to a news release from the company.
