Ragdoll Cat ‘Mesmerized' by Fish Tank Toy Really Wants to Be a Mermaid
There are a ton of different toys out there, and when you're shopping for your cat, it's going to take a while to figure out what they actually like. There's no shame in getting it wrong, although they'll definitely side-eye you.
One Ragdoll cat's mom hit the jackpot with a new toy she bought. When she brought this cool fish tank toy home, she wasn't sure her kitty would like it... But she literally cannot take her eyes off of it:
@soapyrenee Do we think she likes it…? #catmom#ragdollcat#cattoys#catparent @Sophia & Noelle

Sophia has one important thing to note about Pippa and her new toy: she seems to have absolutely no idea that water is wet. She dips her little paw in and freaks out, but even that isn't enough to get her to back away from it. She loves it!
The second kitty in the household, Apollo, seems to really like it as well: he comes to join later on. Though he's orange, he's a little more apprehensive about it. He likes to watch Pippa play, and she's totally fine with that: more for her!

Sophia's cats are very well cared for and loved: they have all of the toys you could ever possibly think of. Additionally, their mom is getting married soon, and the thought of not being able to have her cats at her wedding is sending her into a spiral:
@soapyrenee wdym it's my most special day and THEY CAN'T BE THERE?!? #catmom#weddingplanning#weddinginvitation#ringbearer @Sophia & Noelle

For the record, you absolutely can invite cats to your wedding. Will they like it? If they typically like making new friends and don't mind crowds or loud noises, they might! You can always hire someone to watch them, too!
What Kinds of Toys Do Ragdoll Cats Like?
Clearly, Pippa is head-over-paws for her fish tank toy. She loves everything about it, except for the water, but even that isn't enough to scare her away!
Ragdolls are curious cats who love to experience different things. One type of toy typically gets a little boring for them, so it's best to have a variety of toys to offer. A couple of different categories to have are:
- Chasing toys, which are vital for physical exercise.
- Visual toys, like fish tanks.
- Catnip toys.
Try getting one of each toy and seeing which one they like the best: it might even change from day to day! For Pippa, though, that fish tank will be her favorite forever.
