If you grow up in a family with more than two people, you learn quickly that there are a lot of personality traits someone can have, and the same is true for pets. Some people have mastered the art of tuning others out, while others struggle with any level of noise, and we see that play out with cats, too.

In this video, we meet a Black Cat who's eager to chat with his mom about the day's biggest updates, while his sibling sits nearby, looking like he'd rather be listening to anything else. The contract between the two is hilarious.

TikTok user @iamwillywonky shared a video of a beautiful Black Cat named Nugget and his sibling, Mikey, a very cute Tabby cat. These two are siblings, but they not only look very different from each other, but their personalities are very opposite, too, at least in this clip.

We watch Nugget, the Black Cat, who is very excited to have "Nuggy chats" with his mom, where he recaps his day's adventures and gossips about everything that happens. The only issue is that Mickey doesn't seem interested in hearing about the day's adventures and doesn't want his mom to hear any of it either. Seeing how little the cute Tabby cat cares is hilarious and highlights the very different personalities of all cats, even when they're loved the same way in the same household.

Some comments included, "Mikey is such a troublemaker," "Mikey is jealous," "Mikey is worried Nuggy is going to tattle," "Mikey has joined the chat," "Mikey don't like his siblings getting Mom's and Dad's attention," "Always enjoy your posts with your adorable kitties!! Story worthy!" and "No Mikey, this is Nuggy's time to shine! Love your chats, Nuggy."

Why Some Cats Are More Vocal Than Others

In this house, we get to see how chatty one cat is and not the other, which is pretty normal, according to experts. How chatty or vocal your cats are comes down to their own unique personalities, and there are a few reasons why your kitties might be talking to you.

According to the ASPCA, a cat's meow is how they communicate with people, and how kittens talk to their moms. There are several reasons why a kitty might be more vocal than others, typically thanks to their personality, and there are a few reasons why they're talking to you.

The ASPCA explains that a cat could be chatting with their person to say hello, to get some attention, or to ask for food or something else they need (or want). A cat might be more vocal if they're older, suffering from confusion or a cognitive dysfunction, or if they're in their prime and trying to attract a mate. How much or little your kitty meows for the typical, everyday things like saying hi or asking for something is rooted in their personality.

Also, according to the ASPCA, if your kitty is one to greet you with meows, it's not really a behavior you can increase or decrease, but if they are vocal to ask for things, you can teach your pet that you'll only pay attention when they're quiet, if their chattering borders on too much for your nerves.
