Swedish Vallhund Puppy Loses His Mind When He Sees the New Neighbors for the First Time
Some dogs are simply social creatures. Others are very serious about protecting their home from any and all perceived threats-new people included.
I don't know if Fen, the Swedish Vallhund puppy, was trying to introduce himself to his neighbors and make new friends, or if he was warning his humans about possible intruders, but either way, the second he saw that new people had arrived, he absolutely lost his mind.

Fen is being held by his sister in this video when he notices the neighbors (and their dogs) have arrived, and even starts barking and tries to squirm out of her arms.
According to his humans, he was acting pretty out of character. "When the otherwise sedate new puppy sees the neighbors' dogs and unlocks a new level," the text over the video reads.
Fen was a little overexcited here, but at least the neighbors probably felt like the street's newest resident had noted their presence. If I were living next door to this fellow, I'd be trying to make friends with him ASAP.

Fen Is Already Living His Best Life
After Fen's video got so much attention, his mom is sharing more details about this adorable little guy.
In a follow-up video, she said he's 12 weeks old, and he and his family live in Australia. Technically, he's her son's puppy, who was promised he could have one last year. Her son definitely picked out a great new bestie, because this little guy is so cute and so full of personality.
@forestwalker37 So many questions about Fen's breed, the Swedish Vallhund, so thought I'd share a little throwback video from my Insta page from his first week with us. He is a purebred and is currently 12 weeks old. He lives with a family of 4 humans and 3 other adult dogs (Winnifred, Milly & Fergus) oh and 1 horse (Dexter) in rural Victoria, Australia. I'm very new to TikTok & was a bit overwhelmed by the comments on the viral video. If we can keep it nice I'll hang around and share Fen & Friends' adventures #swedishvallhund#newpuppy#fenrirgreyback#cutepuppycheck

Judging by the video, Fen also seems to really like the family's horse, Dexter, which is impressive, since that horse is a lot bigger than he is. No fear for this little one!
From the other clips of him the family has shared, Fen seems to be settling in well at his new home and loves exploring the bush, as many dogs would. It seems like he found the perfect forever family for him!
