When a new human enters the picture of an already-existing family, dynamics can always be tricky.

Especially when that family is a dog mom and her Dachshund named Lady, who have basically been inseparable since she adopted her.

However, on a recent incredible trip to France and Italy, Lady got to spend a lot of time with her mom's new beau.

It turns out this Dachshund loves Mom's boyfriend, and it couldn't be sweeter.

Look at that tail wagging! She loves this man!

What a sweet compilation of this cutie-pie dog forming an emotional connection with her mom's new boyfriend.

Clearly, Lady had an instant connection with her mom's new guy, and we couldn't be happier for the trio.

Can Dogs Tell When Someone Is Good for Their Parent?

We know dogs can have brilliant instincts when it comes to hunting and finding things, using their incredible sense of smell, but can they tell if a person is inherently good or bad?

Especially a new boyfriend or girlfriend?

According to Petscare.com, dogs aren't able to assess if a person is morally good or bad, but they are very attuned to threatening or dishonest behavior by reading body language and observing emotional cues.

Dogs will also mirror the emotions of humans, so if the person is showing caring and kind behavior, the pup is more likely to approach them and interact positively with them.

We're guessing Lady's mom, influencer Abby Baffoe, has very positive interactions with her new beau, and Lady has been observing that and now feels very comfortable around him.

Baffoe even wrote in the caption of the video, "No one talks about watching your girl dog fall for him also."

It also helps that the three of them were on the most fabulous trip together in Paris, St. Tropez, and Monaco.

That would put anyone in a good mood!
