Ragdoll Cat Heads Out on the Cutest Forest Expedition
I'm pretty sure both of my cats would revolt if I ever tried to put them on a harness and a leash, let alone took them outdoors-they love the finer things in life, like comfy beds to sleep on and central air conditioning in the summer. But some kitties really do thrive on their expeditions in nature.
For example: Lillibelle, the Ragdoll cat, also known as Lilli. She loves being outside, and she looks so majestic that it's easy to look at her and think she belongs there.
@lillitheragdoll My Ragdoll cat turned a simple walk into a full forest expedition. Would your cat do this? #petsoftiktok#adventurecat#ragdollcat#catsoftiktoks#catholic

Lilli is only a year old, but she's so strikingly beautiful with those blue eyes, fluffy coat, and all the curiosity she has about the world around her.
And as her mom has written in another video, Lilli "doesn't chase birds, she chases new places."
@lillitheragdoll I never expected a Ragdoll cat to love the forest this much #ragdollcat#catadventure#petsoftiktok#catlife

This beautiful little cat deserves all the outdoor adventures she can handle! Clearly, she was made for this kind of thing.

Keeping Ragdoll Cats Safe Outside
Lillibelle is different from most cats of her breed; they often aren't the biggest fans of the outdoors because they simply don't thrive there.
As Wise Acre Ragdolls points out, Ragdoll cats aren't very safe outdoors, especially while unsupervised. This is because by nature, they tend to be very docile and trusting, so they aren't prepared to defend themselves against predators while outdoors. They also don't have the survival skills or street smarts to make it through life on the outside for very long.
But if you have a Ragdoll who does seem curious about the outdoors, small, very supervised doses can be a positive thing. Using a harness and leash like Lilli's is a good idea, and so is transporting them around in a carrier or even a cat stroller.
If your kitty seems to love spending lots of time outdoors, you can always consider a catio, where you know they'll be safe while technically still being outside. Safety always has to come first when it comes to our most precious furry friends.
