No jealousy here. Big bro Max loves his little sister Ruby. The Golden Retriever makes space for her whenever she's near. That includes when the dog is taking a rest. You know how some people want some space - yeah, that doesn't apply to Max. He loves it when his little sister is around.

When To Get a Second Dog
For some people, getting a second pet is only a matter of time. So how do you know when to make the call?
Age is a big factor in whether or not to get a second pup. If your dog is young and still needs a lot of training, it's probably best to wait until your dog is ready. You don't want to wait until too long, however. Older dogs have a hard time with young puppies, so be mindful of that too.
It's also important to think about the temperament and energy level of your new dog. You don't want a high energy dog if your current pup is a little bit more mellow. It's also important to make sure you don't have any large projects or big commitments coming up, as getting a new dog acclimated to your home can take time and focus.
That being said, there's nothing like being the dog parent to two happy puppers. As this sweet duo definitely proves.
