'Unique'-Looking Chihuahua Mix Has the Internet Guessing His Heritage

In the TikTok from @ashleysellstexas, a young woman posed a question about her brother's newly adopted pup.
"My brother brought his new 'Chihuahua' puppy over - Am I crazy or does he look a little special?" the onscreen text asked.
The camera cut to the small cinnamon-colored dog, who definitely resembled a Chihuahua, yet there were clearly other genetics at play.
"I'm not saying he's not cute," the caption added. "I'm just saying that's a real unique Chihuahua if I've ever seen one."
The precious pooch's face was larger than a typical Chi's and had wider-set eyes. The dog boasted a bulkier, more muscular build than the traditional small dog breed, giving hints of a Terrier line. Followers flocked to post their opinions on the canine cutie's potential gene pool.
"He looks like a Pitbull Chihuahua - he's a total cutie," one remarked.
"Does he have some Jack Russell mixed in?" another suggested.
"I have one that looks like him. I think he's a Chug (Chihuahua Pug)," a follower shared.
"He kinda looks like my dog and he's a Chihuahua and Miniature Pinscher mix," someone commented.
