Registered Dietitan Shares 2 High-Protein Costco Staples Perfect for Easy Meals and Quick Snacks

If you've got a Costco card, you probably don't need us to remind you to take full advantage of it and all the perks paired with a membership. Packed with just about everything you could possibly need, Costco has quickly become a mecca for dedicated gym rats trying to hit their daily protein goals. But with so many options lining the shelves, it can be tough to know which products are actually worth it. After all, nobody wants to end up with a bulk-sized supply of something they don't even like.

To narrow it down, we tapped Kait Richardson, RD, a performance nutrition speaker and author of How to Eat Like a Normal Person, who shared her two favorite high-protein Costco finds and how she uses them to help hit her daily protein goals.

Cuisine Solutions Sirloin Steak Strips

If meal prepping and cooking aren't really your thing, the Cuisine Solutions Sirloin Steak Strips make it easy to throw together a high-protein meal that tastes like it took more than a few minutes. They're usually priced around $15 per pound, which is a pretty good deal for a tasty, fully cooked, quality protein source that requires minimal effort.

"They're packed with protein, iron, and take less than two minutes to heat up on a skillet," Richardson says. "These steak strips make for great fajitas when paired with peppers, onions, and brown rice, or over an arugula salad with blue cheese vinaigrette, red onion, and baby tomatoes.

Chobani Complete Yogurt Drinks

Yogurt is packed with protein, protein shakes are everywhere, and these Chobani yogurt drinks combine the best of both worlds into one convenient bottle. Depending on the size, each drink packs 20 to 30 grams of protein with no added sugar. Plus, the live active cultures and fiber content can help support digestion and overall gut health.

"A bonus is that they're lactose-free, making them tolerable for those who can't stomach other dairy products like milk or ice cream," she adds. "I love to drink these on-the-go or with meals that need a protein boost."
