Fairhaven restaurant damaged in fatal 2023 fire on track to reopen this fall
One of Fairhaven’s historic restaurants is reopening later this year following a lengthy closure due to the Harris Avenue Terminal Building fire back in 2023.
Dirty Dan Harris Steakhouse has announced plans to reopen this fall in a July 16 social media post.
Another post also announcing the reopening states that applications for a staff positions will be opening in late August.
According to the post, the restaurant is planning to serve brunch, lunch and dinner, and is also hiring bartenders.
Dirty Dan Harris is known for its Dungeness crab cakes, ribs, grilled lobster mac and cheese, beef Wellington and prime rib. The business was named one of the seven best steakhouses in the Pacific Northwest back in 2023.
No reopening date or operating hours have been announced. Dirty Dan Harris Steakhouse is at 1211 11th St. in Bellingham.
