What’s the best spot in Bellingham to get tacos? Tell us your favorite

Getting tacos for dinner can mean anything from a quick stop at a food truck on your way home to a night out at a trendy sit-down restaurant, and everything in between.

Bellingham has plenty of options for each, from downtown’s cocktail bar-taco shop hybrids like Black Sheep and Seattle transplant Red Star Taco Bar to the taco trucks doing the rounds at the city’s most popular breweries. And that’s not to mention the numerous sit-down Mexican restaurants that serve tacos as well.

No matter which type of taco spot you prefer, The Bellingham Herald wants to hear from you. Over the coming weeks, we’ll release a bracket-style poll of the best taco shops in the area.

In a previous Herald poll to find the best tacos in Bellingham, Mi Rancho Meat Market took first place. But there are plenty of strong contenders around town, and we want to see which restaurants and food trucks you’ll vote for this time around.

While we initially planned to close the form on Wednesday, June 18, we wanted to give our readers a few more days to submit the names of their favorite taco shops, so you’ll now have until Friday, June 27 to fill out the form.
