Two new restaurants opening in Bellis Fair mall, bringing new dining options to Bellingham

Two new restaurants are planned to open in Bellingham’s Bellis Fair mall on Friday, Nov. 29.

The two new restaurants will be in the mall’s food court, occupying spaces that have been empty around eight years, according to the mall’s general manager, David Prince.

Cultured Harvests, a restaurant serving soups, sandwiches, salads, toasts and spreads, will open in spot 515. The restaurant’s menu includes made-from-scratch items such as harvest pumpkin soup, Thai steak salad, Pacific roasted salmon sandwich, spiced avocado toast, crab salsa, berries and cream toast, a Rueben sandwich and build your own options.

Next door in spot 516 will be Roman Artisan Bake, an international bake shop started by Ed Roman that previously operated out of a kiosk inside the mall. The bakery’s menu features desserts from around the world including rum cake, creme brulee, torta maría luisa, cuatro leches and guava pastries.

Both restaurants are planned to open Friday, Nov. 29 and will follow the mall’s operating hours, according to David Prince.

Bellis Fair mall is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, although holiday hours may vary.

The Bellis Fair mall is at 1 Bellis Fair Parkway in Bellingham.
