Bellingham’s Texas Roadhouse announces opening, hiring now for part and full-time jobs

Bellingham’s long-awaited Texas Roadhouse restaurant now has an opening month and announced it is hiring for more than 200 job positions.

The chain steakhouse restaurant is planned to open in “early October,” according to a news release from the restaurant. The new restaurant will be at 4331 Meridian St., the former home to Billy McHale’s Restaurant.

The restaurant’s construction has made steady progress, and now even has a Texas state flag and an American flag hanging above it as it is being completed.

The new restaurant will also hire 220 employees, both part-time and full-time, according to the news release.

Those who are interested in working at the restaurant can apply online. Interviews are being held at a hiring trailer in the restaurant’s parking lot.

The restaurant also announced its operating hours once it opens. Texas Roadhouse will be open for dinner from 4-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 4-11 p.m. Friday, and for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
