Doug’s Burgers, a late-night food truck known for its burgers and fries, has opened its awaited brick-and-mortar location in Bellingham.

“I worked on a few friends’ trucks in Houston and had a pop-up tent for a while,” owner and cook Matt King told The Herald for a November 2023 article. “I was going to have my first truck there but wanted to give Bellingham a late-night option after visiting family. I named it after my dog. If everyone visited as hungry as him I would definitely sell out immediately.”

The restaurant opening was announced on the its Facebook and Instagram pages:

The restaurant started doing pop-up openings earlier this month, posting the schedule on its social media pages.

The restaurant is now operating from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday through Sunday for takeout only at 2527 Meridian St. in Bellingham, the previous location of El Rey Latino Restaurant and next door to Menace Brewing.

Doug’s Burgers food truck will remain open. Follow the restaurant’s social media accounts for food truck location and schedule.
