Seattle-based Mexican restaurant coming to downtown Bellingham this summer
Seattle-based Mexican restaurant Red Star Taco Bar has confirmed the rumors of a new restaurant opening in downtown Bellingham.
The restaurant currently has locations in Seattle and Tacoma, serving “eclectic tacos, frozen margaritas and high-quality tequila in an upbeat setting with late-night hours,” according to the restaurant’s website.
The new restaurant will be at 1327 N State St., the previous location of Jack’s BBQ, across the street from Schweinhaus Biergarten and Aslan Depot. Red Star Taco Bar plans to open mid-June, according to an email to The Bellingham Herald.
Red Star Taco Bar’s menu includes craft margaritas, cocktails, nachos, chips and dips, burritos, tacos and desserts.
